Ibotta is a free app that gives users cash back on everyday purchases, having paid out over $2 billion in cash back. To distinguish itself from competitors, the company underwent a brand repositioning aimed at refreshing its look and strengthening its market presence. I led the rebrand initiative and facilitated collaboration with the branding agency. When they were finished, I refined the color palette, built out the illustration style, and implemented the brand rollout companywide. As a part of that effort, my team was able to create cohesion, of a once-disconnected brand identity, across every channel for the first time in the company’s history.
